This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for BlueOcean services.
BlueOcean provides custom software, AI, consulting, design, and embedded pod services. Because these services require planning, staffing, and delivery effort, payments for work already performed are generally non-refundable.
Deposits, onboarding fees, discovery fees, and kickoff payments are non-refundable once work has started, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Milestone payments are non-refundable once the related milestone, deliverable, or work period has been completed or accepted.
Monthly retainers and embedded pod fees are billed for reserved team capacity. Fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started.
Clients may cancel future work according to the notice period in the applicable agreement, statement of work, or invoice terms. Any approved refund will apply only to prepaid fees for work not yet started, minus committed costs and work already performed.
If a client is dissatisfied with a deliverable, they should notify BlueOcean in writing with specific concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to correct material issues that fall within the agreed scope.
Refunds may be considered if BlueOcean is unable to provide the agreed service and cannot reasonably cure the issue. Any refund must be approved in writing.
